Grayson praises Bromby

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has praised the contribution made by Leigh Bromby on Saturday.Bromby made only his second appearance this season when he replace Alex Bruce who was forced off inside ten minutes after suffering an injury during the warm up.The defender quickly settled in alongside fellow centre back Neil Collins and helped Leeds to only their second home clean sheet this season.Speaking about Bromby on the official website, Grayson said, "I thought Leigh did really well."He dropped straight in and put in a good performance I thought he looked assured and comfortable alongside Neil Collins."Bromby`s only other appearance this season came in the 2-1 win at Middlesbrough back in October when he played the final five minutes. The former Sheffield United defender scored a rare goal when he scored in the behind closed doors friendly win over Newcastle last week.Saturday`s game was only the seventh time he has been named in the squad this season.
