Latics look at Leeds ace

Wigan have joined the chase for transfer-listed Leeds star Bradley Johnson.
Johnson is currently on the transfer list at Leeds after failing to agree a new deal at Elland Road.
The 23-year-old seems set to leave after rejecting a number of offers to extend his contract and becoming embroiled in a war of words with Whites chairman Ken Bates.
Johnson's contract expires at the end of the season and Leeds are prepared to sell him in January rather than risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
The news of Johnson's availability has alerted a number of clubs, including Bolton and Championship rivals Burnley and Sheffield United, and now Wigan.
Latics boss Roberto Martinez is keen to bolster his squad in January and has made midfield reinforcements his top priority.
Martinez is set to lose loan star Tom Cleverley back to Manchester United in the New Year and is facing a battle to keep hold of the in-demand Charles N'Zogbia, and he sees Johnson as someone who could help fill the void on the left side of midfield.
