Derby County scored twice in as many minutes as they came from behind to beat Leeds United at Pride Park.
Max Gradel gave United the lead on 58 minutes with a strike from the edge of the box. However, within five minutes Derby were in front.
Jamie Ward equalised for the home side before Ben Davies gave the Rams the lead with a stunning shot low into the right corner of the goal.
The three points keep Derby out of the relegation battle, Leeds stay sixth.
It was United's third consecutive home defeat and means that Simon Grayson's team are just a point above Forest in seventh.
It was a cagey first half in which both teams struggled to dominate. Leeds United were the more threatening going forward.
Barry Bannan had a decent chance after 23 minutes but shot wide with his left foot.
Five minutes later Luciano Becchio chested the ball into the path of Jonny Howson and the Leeds skipper burst forward before unleashing a right-foot drive which was parried away by goalkeeper Brad Jones.
The home side improved after the break but it was Leeds who took the lead when Gradel scored with a vicious right-foot drive from just outside the penalty area.
What they lacked going forward in the first half though derby more than made up for in response to going behind and they were level within three minutes.
Stephen Pearson skipped past former Rams defender Paul Connolly and crossed for Ward, who was on hand to finish at the far post.
And two minutes later Leeds were stunned when Derby took the lead courtesy of a sweetly-hit strike from Ben Davies. Pearson was once again the provider, this time with a pinpoint corner from the left which the former Notts County midfielder met with a sublime right-foot
Leeds threw men forward in the closing stages but Derby stood firm for three precious points that sees them move 11 points clear of relegation.
