Leeds midfielder is March's top dog

Leeds United midfielder Jonathan Howson is enjoying an outstanding season and his consistent displays have led to the 22-year-old being named the ESPN PFA Fans' Championship Player of the Month award for March.

The England U-21 international is currently United’s longest serving player having made over 150 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit since making his debut in September 2006, while Howson has already served under four different managers at Elland Road.

Howson scored an impressive brace in the 5-2 victory against Doncaster at the start of March, while on Saturday he took his seasonal tally to 11 after netting the opener in the impressive 4-1 victory against Nottingham Forest.
