Leeds United's first team squad hit the ground running at Thorp Arch on Thursday morning with the return to pre-season training.
Instead of the usual 90 degree temperatures, the squad were greeted with cloud and rain as they embarked on what will be a gruelling pre-season schedule.
The squad will undergo two heavy sessions every day between now and Sunday July 10 when they head off to Scotland for the games against Falkirk and Motherwell.
Paul Rachubka was the new signing in the pack, the former Blackpool goalkeeper meeting his new team-mates for the first time, while Tom Lees, Fede Bessone, and Aidy White re-joined to the squad after loan spells away at the end of last season.
Two absentees on a playing front were Paddy Kisnorbo, who will return on Monday after completing a summer rehab programme in Australia and Ramon Nunez, who has been in international action for Honduras.United back
