Leeds United Players Banned from "Tweeting"

Following a tweet from Davide Somma that revealed he has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and will be out of action for up to six months  Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has banned his players from the social networking service Twitter. The club have attempted to justify the move by claiming the leaked news will alert other clubs to the fact Leeds are in the market for a striker, resulting in them upping their asking price.Personally I think think the ban is a joke Leeds Fans on Twitter knew days ago Somma was on crutches,in fact a certain Joe Mewis was the first to tweet"Hmm, Davide Somma's just hobbled past me on crutches as I'm walking home from work. Guessing he's not in Scotland then?",revealing the news.Players should not be denied the opportunity to interact with the fans and the Club should not be dictating what they do in their personal lives and yes i know the players have certain responsibilities but this ban is a step to far.Stand by for a number of anonymous accounts suddenly appearing.
