Wigan Set to Bid for Snodgrass

Following Charles N'Zogbia's transfer to Aston Villa today Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is set to test Leeds United's resolve with a bid of up to £8M for Scottish International winger Robert Snodgrass.Snodgrass bagged six goals in 39 Championship games last season for Simon Grayson’s Leeds, and was awarded the league’s Player of the Month award for both January and February.Leeds turned down a club record bid of £3.5M from Premiership new boys Norwich City for Snodgrass last month when it was rumoured they had placed an £8m price tag on his head.Simon Grayson is desperate to resist any bids by pricing him out of a move.Snodgrass was in excellent form for Leeds this season and his displays earned him a call-up to the Scotland side - and he now has two caps for his country. But the 23-year-old, who joined Leeds from Livingston in 2008, was unable to help Grayson's men to promotion.
