Forsell interest Confirmed

As revealed on Glory Glory Leeds United on Saturday Leeds United have confirmed they are looking at Finland international striker Mikael Forssell.

The free agent striker is on the lookout for a new club after his contract with German side Hannover expired over the summer.

The ex-Birmingham and Chelsea man underwent a trial with Championship rivals West Ham United earlier this summer.

Forssell has now linked up with Leeds for training and manager Simon Grayson is looking forward to assessing the striker in person.

Andy Keogh joined on loan on Monday, although Leeds' boss remains in the hunt for talent with Luciano Becchio and Davide Somma on the sidelines.

"Mikael is training with us and we'll see how things go," Grayson told the club's official website.
