Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has confirmed midfielder Jonny Howson will be the club's captain this season.Howson has worn the armband on numerous occasions in the past after deputising for Richard Naylor for much of last season.The 23-year-old has made over 200 appearances for the Whites after coming through the Academy and Grayson feels Howson will thrive in the role.Grayson said: "Jonny will be our captain this season."We've got other people in the team who could be captain but they all lead in different ways."I think Jonny's thrived on the responsibility that he's been given. He's a local lad, he loves the club and he leads by example."He's got all the attributes to make that position a success."
