Leeds United Reject Gradel Bid

Leeds United have rejected Sochaux's £2million offer for in demand winger Max Gradel. The Club are however bracing themselves for further bids before the transfer window shuts.Stoke City are believed to preparing a £4m plus Tom Soares package bid.West Ham,who recently had a bid for Gradel rejected, may come back with a larger bid with more funds now available from the imminent sale of Scott Parker to Tottenham.
Gradel,23, is out of contract next summer and has yet to agree a new deal with the Whites. It may be that Leeds are willing to take a "hit" on Gradel and allow him to run down his contract and leave on a free in the summer a similar situation to previous players Jermaine Beckford,Neil Kilkenny and Bradley Johnson. However a bid of around £5m will surely test the clubs resolve.
