Fabiain Delph on his way back to Leeds United?

Former Leeds United legend Peter Lorimer has revealed that Leeds are at advanced stages of negotiations to bring Fabian Delph back to Elland Road on loan. Leeds fans present at the on the road evening with the Surrey Whites have been posting via the social networking site "Twitter" the news that Delph is close to a return after leaving for Aston Villa in August 2009.Lorimer revealed the news whilst addressing the fans at the popular Leeds event.Delph played just 43 games for Leeds at League One level and one at Championship level at the end of the 2006–07 season, before he transferred to Aston Villa in August 2009 for £6 million.
Delph made 15 appearances in his first season with the Premier League club before suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in training, which saw out for eight months.He returned in December 2010 but he made just eight appearances last season.This season he has eleven appearances, his last coming against Liverpool on December 17th.Delph would be a welcome acquisition in midfield with club captain Jonny Howson ruled out until around March with a knee injury.
