Warnock Targeted by Forest

According to reports Leeds manager Neil Warnock will become a target for Nottingham Forest once mega-rich Fawaz Al-Hasawi completes his proposed takeover. The Kuwaiti businessman is continuing with his attempts to take control at the City Ground and sees Warnock as the man he wants to lead them out of the Championship.Warnock’s future at Elland Road is unclear as talks regarding a big-money takeover of their own continue. The manager has been forced to put his transfer plans on hold while discussions over new investment are completed. And Al-Hasawi is keen to take advantage of any uncertainty over Warnock’s future by moving to make the ex-QPR boss their new manager.Current manager Steve Cotterill is unlikely to keep his job at the City Ground should Al-Hasawi complete his takeover.
