After the dust has settled lets reflect on last night's defeat to Arsenal.To be honest and fair Arsenal were worthy winners.Despite Kasper producing a world class save and Bradley Johnson a world class , and contender for goal of the season,strike Leeds were knocked out of the cup by a team some are tipping for an unprecedented quadruple(there is a little matter of a Champions League tie against Barcelona in which i predict Arsenal will get their annual footballing lesson).Some of the players can take heart from some of there performances over the two games.In Kasper Schmeicel Leeds have a keeper destined for great thing, surely an International call up is not far away. Snodgrass and Howson are improving all the time.Mad Max Gradel's work rate is unbelievable and once he gets a little more consistency he will be some player.Alex Bruce is fast becoming Leeds best defender, . He seems to have improved his reading of the game and is growing in stature as the season progresses.With these players and the sorely missed Becchio, who in my humble opinion is the best striker outside the Premiership, Leeds have the "spine" of a good team with a few additions,another quality centre half and a commanding midfielder Leeds will be on the march to the promised land.
