Leeds United linked with summer move for former Liverpool starlet

Leeds United are being linked with a summer move for former Liverpool starlet Victor Palsson.

The Anfield academy graduate failed to make a first team appearance during his time with Liverpool, joining Hibernian on an 18-month contract after a brief loan spell with Dagenham & Redbridge.

After just six months in the SPL, Championship clubs have been alerted to the 20-year-old defensive midfielders availability, with Leeds United boss Simon Grayson part of the chasing pack.

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins is also keen on the Icelandic U21 international, according to talkSPORT, with the Saints boss looking to strengthen his squad at St. Mary's ahead of their return season in England's second tier.

Palsson joined Liverpool in 2009, with Rafael Benitez bringing the player to club from AGF in Denmark.
