Leeds consider Kelly loan

Leeds are interested in taking Fulham full-back Stephen Kelly on loan, according to the Sunday Times.Simon Grayson is keen to supplement his defensive resources as he bids to guide Leeds to the Premier League and sees the Republic of Ireland right back as an ideal signing. Kelly has previously hinted that he would be open to leaving Craven Cottage should he find first-team opportunities difficult to come by.The former Tottenham and Birmingham full-back has made just two appearances under Martin Jol. He played in the goalless draw in Runavik back in early July and was impressive in Fulham’s 3-0 dismantling of Dnipro that set up their qualification for the Europa League group stages. Kelly played a key role in Fulham’s run to the Europa League final in 2009/10, operating on either side of the defence, and Jol may wish to retain him as full-back cover.
