Leeds plot winger deal after Grayson scouting trip

Leeds United are being linked with a move for Stevenage winger Lawrie Wilson. The versatile midfielder has impressed at Broadhall Way this season, most recently staring in Boro's 5-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.Reports in The Sun claim Simon Grayson was scouting the player at both that and their previous home game, with the Leeds United boss thought to be impressed by the 24-year-old's performances on both occasions.Wilson has scored once in his eight appearances this season, and was an integral part of Stevenage's promotion campaign from Npower League Two last season. The Leeds United manager is clearly evaluating his options for January, with Wilson now emerging as a legitimate target for the history-steeped club.
