No Move For Nile Ranger

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has moved quickly to dismiss a story suggesting he missed out signing Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger on transfer deadline day.Media reports claim a deal fell through for the marksman during deadline day, but the Leeds boss has moved to clarify the story."It's simply not true," said the Leeds boss."Nile was one of a number of players who we were aware of his availability during the transfer window, but we brought in Andy Keogh a few weeks before so we were not looking at other strikers.
"We certainly didn't speak with Newcastle about his availability, and it's well known that we were looking in other areas."
