Pugh Set For Leeds Loan Return

Leeds United are keen to bring Stoke City midfielder Danny Pugh back to the club on loan, according to skysports.com.Despite featuring in all three of the Potters' opening Barclays Premier League games, Pugh has been left out of the club's 25-man squad for the first half of the season meaning he'll be looking for a new club come the opening of the emergency loan window on Thursday.Stoke boss Tony Pulis is reportedly ready to let the 28-year-old depart, with Leeds now favourites to take the player on loan.Pugh would return for a second spell at Leeds after making a return to another of his former clubs, Preston North End, last season.

He made 50 appearances for Leeds during a two year stay at Elland Road, before departing for Deepdale in 2006
