Warnock Looking Forward to Pre-Season

Leeds manager Neil Warnock expects his players to report for pre-season training this week in good condition. Some players have already returned to Thorp Arch ahead of the official start on Wednesday, when Leeds will begin preparing for their first friendly against Farsley Celtic on July 20 and then a week-long stay in Cornwall."Lads look after themselves nowadays and so they should. It's a different ball game to what it used to be. We'll look to have a good week's training before we start with the game at Farsley," Warnock told the club's official website."We'll have a good week away, down in Cornwall, and we'll have a vast amount of fans down there to watch our games and an open training session, probably on the Tuesday."It's just a week where we train morning and afternoon and play games at night. Although the games are important the results are unimportant because you won't be relaxing like you do in a season with all the training. The games are just another fitness session. I also think being away bonds the lads very well."
Leeds are scheduled to play Tavistock, Bodmin and Torquay during their trip to the south-west.
